Joomla add-on for cPanel®

The script below is obsolate.

This script will add Joomla! CMS in cPanel^® as an "add-on script" so users can install Joomla! from their site's cPanel^® interface with just few clicks.

In order to install it, you need a server with cPanel^® and administration rights (root). The script was tested with "X2" skin under WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.8.1-R21.

The following script download the cPanel^® add-on from this site, extract files and move them in the proper places then download Joomla 1.0.3 from joomla.org website. This script is free to dwnload. It does not change cPanel^® configuration nor alter any file but is better to backup your server files before installing it.
